The process to become FSTA Certified is simple:

  1. Order the study guide and written exam by clicking here, or by clicking any of the green arrows on any page.
  2. Complete the written exam and either email or mail it to FSTA for scoring (click here for email and mailing addresses)
  3. Once your written exam is graded, we will arrange a time to conduct a live telephone inquiry with a FSTA representative to test your new skills in a mock sales call.
  4. The FSTA representative will critique your performance.
  5. FSTA will combine your scores for both portions of the exam and will email you the results within 48 hours of the telephone portion of the exam.
  6. You will receive your FSTA Certificate in the mail within 3 business days.
  7. Proudly promote yourself and your new certification to potential employers and to industry colleagues

The FSTA Study Guide is not your run-of-the-mill sales book filled with lots of fluff and very few practical strategies.  You will learn dozens of new ideas to...

The written exam consists of 50 questions:

  • multiple choice
  • short answer
  • and essay. 

When you are finished taking the written exam, you will take a situational capstone exam over the telephone.  The exit exam will allow you to practice your new skills in a real-life telephone inquiry with one of our staff members.  Your performance will be critiqued and the combined written and telephone scores will be compiled and you will become certified within 48 hours of taking the situational exam. 

 

FSTA Certified individuals receive a beautiful certificate that can be proudly displayed in an office or portfolio.  FSTA certification is respected throughout the United States and throughout many countries worldwide.
